“When in the mood for travelling upcountry, I
always think of Cha-am first choice as the beaches
are still pristine, quiet and suitable for relaxation.
More importantly, it is close to Bangkok. I have
been to Cha-am very often lately, sometimes with
family and other times with friends and my intimate one. Mostly, I haven’t done much, just eat, sleep, swim and go to spa.
Every time I go to the beach I get up early and
freshly at around seven. I always start my day with a breakfast, then around late morning I swim, both in the pool and in the sea. To me, swimming in the
sea is a way to detoxify myself. Being a “Beauty
Addict”, I bathe in the sea and gently rub sand on
my skin. Without that, it feels like I have not been to the sea. I then sunbathe in the afternoon, just to get a little tanned before going to spa to get a true
relaxation. When the night comes I would go out for dinner, even as far as Hua Hin market
sometimes. Cha-am beach is charming. And when I see the white wooden bungalows or boutique
hotels I would feel at home. The Maruekhathayawan Palace is eternally beautiful. Every time I go
there it gives me a special feeling. I particularly like its colonial architecture. I can never be bored
visiting Cha-am.”
